Personal data we collect

Laplace Robot collects data from you through our interactions with you and our products. You provide some of this data directly, and we collect some of it by collecting data about your interactions, use, and experiences with our products. The data we collect depends on the context of your interactions with the Laplace Robot and the choices you make, including your privacy settings and the products and features you use. We also receive data about you from third parties.
You have options when it comes to the technology you use and the data you share. When we ask you to provide your personal data, you can decline. Most of our products require some personal data to provide a service to you. If you choose not to provide the data required to provide you with a product or feature, you will not be able to use that product or feature. Similarly, we will not be able to enter into a contract if we are required by law to collect personal data or to sign or execute a contract with you and if you do not provide the data; or if this concerns an existing product you are using, we may need to suspend or cancel it. If this is the case at that time, we will inform you. Where the provision of data is optional and you choose not to share personal data, features such as personalization using such data will not work for you.

How we use personal data

Laplace Robot uses the data we collect to provide you with rich, interactive experiences. We use data specifically for the following purposes:

  • To provide and support our products, including updates, security and troubleshooting. It also includes data sharing when you need to provide the service or perform transactions you request.
  • Improve and improve our products.
  • Personalize our products and provide suggestions.
  • Advertising and marketing, which includes sending promotional communications, targeting ads, and providing you with relevant offers.

In achieving these purposes, we combine data we collect from different contexts or from third parties to provide you with a more seamless, consistent and personalized experience, make informed business decisions, and for other legitimate purposes.
Our processing of personal data for these purposes includes both automatic and manual (human) processing methods. Our automatic methods are usually related to our manual methods and are supported by these methods. For example, our automated methods include artificial intelligence (AI), which we think of as a set of technologies that enable computers to perceive, learn, justify, and aid decision-making to solve problems in ways similar to what humans do. . To establish, train and improve the accuracy of our automated processing methods (including AI), we manually review some of the predictions and inferences generated by automated methods against the underlying data from which predictions and inferences are made.
